Development Overview

This landmark development delivers 1,089 new apartments across 13 blocks ranging from seven to 29 storeys, creating a significant new residential community and contributing to large-scale regeneration. With a contract value of £18.92m, the scheme represents one of British Offsite’s largest projects to date.

British Offsite was appointed by Weston Homes to manufacture and supply its advanced UNisystemSFS light gauge steel system for the superstructure. Currently in progress, the offsite installation is supporting a project of unprecedented scale by providing the programme certainty, efficiency, and quality control required for delivery.

The precision-engineered UNisystemSFS panels allow faster envelope completion and reduced reliance on traditional trades, generating significant programme savings and minimising site storage demands. By consolidating multiple trades into a single offsite process, British Offsite is helping to ensure a safer, leaner and more sustainable build process across all 13 buildings.

“We programmed three weeks from plate to plate and we are achieving dry envelopes inside two weeks and a day!“
